A very warm welcome to the 2 edition of JSW Cement Technical Newsletter. We wish to update you various business
initiatives JSW cement has taken in East during last quarter. We are very much glad to inform you that keeping pace with
the demand in Indian Construction Industry; JSW has enhanced its capacity from 12.8 MTPA to 14 MTPA by lunching the

new Jajpur Plant in Odisha in the month of August’19, which was inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha on 5th
August’19.
Jajpur Plant is equipped with latest advance technology available in the world today for producing supreme quality

Portland Slag and Portland Composite cement. We feel proud to inform you that the product from our new Jajpur plant has
already got approvals from various Govt. authorities e.g. PWD of Odisha, Water Works Dept. and many more for it’s
quality. Our Cement has already been used in all types of major construction work both in Public and Private sectors

namely:West Bengal -Digha Sankarpur Development Authority, Irrigation Department, PWD of W.B (i.e. Bidhannagar Div. /
Social Sector MED Div. / Eastern Circle/ Western Highway Circle–1), West Bengal State Agricultural Marketing Board, West
Bengal Health Department (Swatha Bhawan), West Bengal State Electrical Transmission Company Limited, West Bengal

We are pleased to inform you that recently we have added one more variety of Premium blended cement in our offerings,

named COMP CEM (confirming to IS - 16415). COMPCEM is a unique cement comprising OPC, Slag and Fly ash and exhibits
excellent properties both in terms of strength and durability.
