September spells new starts for all
students across the country, facing back
to another academic year – but spare a Marie Breslin, LC
thought for some teachers who also are "This is a great

Education (PE) in St. Mary’s. Despite her
          hectic timetable, Daily Mary’s managed
to get five minutes with the one and
only Ms Conlon to get an insight into her
          new job.

A simple question received a simple PE combines
answer. Asked ‘What is it like being a PE with SPHE
teacher?’ Ms Conlon expressed how she and CSPE to
          felt in one word: ‘Great.’
It was clear by the huge smile on her make our Jade Kearns, LC

She revealed had taught in a previous school before coming to
St. Mary’s, holding a post in Our Lady’s in Belmullet. This writer
was curious to see was there any differences in the two schools Farrah Giblin, LC
as a PE teacher, she replied with ‘Yes I notice a huge difference
as the school I used to teach in is a mixed school.’ “The PE Hall”

Interestingly, Ms Conlon was a past pupil of St Marys and after
finding out this information I was curious to know did she find it
strange coming back to a school where she now works with the
people who used to teach her. Ms Conlon didn't hesitate to tell
the newspaper that she does find it, “very, very strange” but

she added that “all the staff have been very welcoming.”

And with that, Ms. Conlon was off to class, with a smile on her
          face! Sophie Ardiff, LC
