While nursing schools are currently
associated with Universities and are 33
degree granting in 1960 things were in a
transitional phase. Helen wished to
upgrade her academic career and was
accepted into the School of Nursing at
Queen's University BNSc program. With
her RN she required two years to
achieve her BNSc. Because of the
transition mentioned above a number of
her classmates had already been in the
Queen's BNSc program for three years.
Peggy Tait also came to Queen's from
TWH at the same time.
