1.8.1.4 Airplane class

The airplane category can be further divided into classes.

Single-engine land Single-engine seaplane Twin-engine land Twin-engine seaplane

We can now state that the airplanes we fly are in the category of airplanes and

the class of "Single-engine land" (on English: Single Engine Land Aeroplane, SEP-

land).
All the different single-engine (piston engine) land airplanes we fly are of the

same class.

1.8.2 SEP LAND rating

In order to fly these airplanes, we need a "class rating for SEP LAND." The table

on the next page shows which airplanes an SEP-Land license applies to.
