You may need radio communication for three or more reasons:

1) You must have a radio certificate in order to obtain a private pilot's license.
It can be a BEG-certificate with Danish or English language endorsement.

2) You would like to be able to speak on the radio outside Denmark.

3) You do not have and do not need to have a private pilot's license, but you

would like to relieve the pilot when you fly together.

It is possible for others than pilots to take the radio certificate. For example,

with a BEG radio certificate, you can act as a radio operator and relieve the

pilot so that he can concentrate on the flight. Such a division of labor is
beneficial for both the participants and an increase in flight safety.

This e-book meets the requirements for English aviation phraseology at the

time of writing.

New requirements are issued periodically for the area, that’s why it will be

necessary, after acquiring a radio certificate, to stay informed about this.
