- Complete the school’s preliminary course "Radio Operator BEG," which
covers the necessary topics. This course concludes with a written
application test that must be passed for admission to the radio course.
If you have taken or are in the process of taking PPL theory or practical training
or BEG-certifikate with Danish language endorsement at Midtjysk Flyveskole,
we consider the above to be fulfilled.
If you are not already a student at Midtjysk Flyveskole, we will request you to
show documentation of sufficient prior knowledge in Air Law, meteorology,
navigation and knowledge of radio equipment in aircraft, or you will be referred
to the preliminary course "Radio operator BEG" before you can actively
participate in the BEG course.
In addition, you must also:
- be able to conduct a conversation in clearly understandable English
- be able to read and understand both ordinary everyday English written
language and specific radio language related to VFR flying.
To ensure this, we must have a conversation with you, so we know that you can
read and understand ordinary everyday English.
