d. flight manual and other documents containing data necessary to comply
with the provisions of points 8.1 and 8.2, as well as any other information

necessary for the airplane to be operated in a proper and safe manner

e. up-to-date navigation charts and navigation information relevant to the

flight

f. the emergency and rescue equipment published in the relevant AIP

g. procedure, in the event of the airplane being intercepted, and a list of

visual signals to be used during interception

h. an approved automatic emergency locator transmitter – ELT(A) if the

requirements for this are published in the relevant AIP

Note 1: BL 1-10 contains requirements and specifications for the installation of

an approved ELT.

8.4 If required, cf. AIP, ENR 1.4, the airplane shall be equipped with
communication equipment that enables two-way radio contact with air traffic

services to be maintained. If more than one set of communication equipment is

required, they shall operate independently of each other.

6.3.2.2 Oxygen supply

8.5.1 Rules on the use of supplemental oxygen during flight are contained in

EASA SERA PART NCO and the legal text is derived from 2026/1199.

a) The commander shall ensure that all flight crew members performing

duties essential to the safe operation of the aircraft in flight continuously

use supplemental oxygen if he/she determines that a lack of oxygen at
the intended flight altitude could result in reduced performance of the

crew, and shall ensure that supplemental oxygen is available to

passengers if a lack of oxygen could harm the passengers.

b) In all other cases where the commander cannot determine how the lack

of oxygen could affect all occupants, he/she shall ensure:
