intended point of the entire route, from which the rest of the trip must

be performed with the ground in sight, the amount of clouds must not

exceed 4/8 for each individual cloud layer. Ground Visibility must be at

least 5 km.

- A flight plan must be submitted for the flight

- May only be performed as a VFR day

In airspace where it is a requirement to have sight of the ground, VFR flight may

not be performed without sight of the ground. That is, in airspace G below 3000

feet.

6.3.3.3 VFR-Night Flight

8.10.1 Airplanes operating outside the diurnal periods must, in accordance with

the Flight Manual, be approved for this purpose or approved for IFR flight in

accordance with the airworthiness requirements contained in BL 1-12, section

7, and be equipped with, (BL 5-61 / Edg. 1 / 10):

a. the navigation lights required in BL 7-1, section 4.2.3

b. landing lights
c. lights for instruments and equipment necessary for the safe conduct of

the flight

d. lights in the passenger cabin

e. an electric flashlight at all flight crew stations

In addition:

- anti-collision lights
- gyros and navigation and communication equipment

- If flying outside the vicinity of the aerodrome:

o transponder at least mode A

o flight plan must be filed
o 2-way radio contact established with the air traffic services unit
