Operational procedures
6.5.1.1 Noise reduction during overflights
The air traffic rules set provisions for, among other things, minimum flight
altitudes.
In addition, the commander must ensure that the flight causes as little
inconvenience to the surroundings as possible.
The Danish Transport Authority has the possibility to obtain radar data showing
the altitude and route of the individual aircraft.
On this basis, the Danish Transport Authority can assess whether the noise
limitation regulations or the rules for minimum flight altitudes are being
followed for a specific flight.
For example, look at
the approach map
for Roskilde Airport
below.
You should
particularly note the
buildings marked in
blue.
You are not allowed
to fly here during
take-off and
landing.
Remember to read point 16 regarding local regulations in the VFG before flying
to a site.
