                8.6.4    The electrical system

                8.6.4.1     The electrical system


                The electrical system in the aircraft consists of a battery, 12 or 24 volts, which

                drives  the  starter.  When  the  engine  is  running,  the  generator  (ALTernator)

                produces electricity.


                The  voltage  produced  is  an  alternating  voltage,  which  is  rectified  to  a  direct
                voltage of about 14 V or 28 V, which is necessary to charge the battery.
