After the frequency is (4000 / 25NM), which means you must be at 4000 feet or
below and within a radius of 25 NM to transmit on the frequency. It is called
frequency protection.
It is also stated that FIS (Flight Information Service) is provided by Karup
Approach on 120.430 MHz
At EKHG, there are the communication units Radio and Approach that you can
get in touch with. At the larger airports, there are several different units that you
can contact on the radio. These are indicated by a geographical name and a suffix
(e.g. Tower), which indicates which service you can get.

Radio Can provide information to a limited extent.
Can be used by traffic to and from an airfield without the
need for an operator sitting on the ground and responding to
aircraft
Information For example Stauning Information provides flight information
and traffic information as well as an alerting service.
Copenhagen Information provides flight information service
and alerting service in Copenhagen FIR (Flight Information
Region)
Tower TWR Provides air traffic control service in Control Zones and at
airports in the maneuvering area. Also provides flight
information and traffic information and alerting service
Approach APP Provides flight information service and air traffic control
service for arriving and departing aircraft in a TMA (Terminal
Area) Traffic information and avoidance advice as well as
alerting service
Approach service can be divided into Departure and Arrival
service
When we call Herning Radio, we can get information about the track in use and
wind within the service hours (which you can find it in the VFG).
