NEW CHALLENGES
Middle School Golfer Shows Promise
Thanks to his grandfather,William Sides has been swinging a golf club since he could walk. Sides played his  rst competitive tournament at the ripe age of seven. His lowest round in competitive
play was a 70 when he won the Oklahoma State championship several years ago,  nishing the  nal round with an eagle. As a 6th grader last year,William also got a hole-in-one on hole #14 at Southern Hills Country Club. Sides is no stranger to that course, as he has won the club’s Junior Golf Championship as well.To start off his 7th grade golf season this year, Sides won the Cascia Hall Invitational Tournament in March.This Commando golfer will be one to watch as he continues his work on the course.

Our project this year is to help with the tennis court resurfacing and renovations. Participants in this tournament have helped raise more than $650,000 for various athletic department projects such as the gym, locker room, and weight room renovations, as well as baseball  eld and track improvements.
