Cascia Freshman Baller Makes a Difference
Kate Dreyer came into her freshman year at Cascia excited about basketball. Little did she know that in her freshman season, she would be the difference maker for her team. Dreyer started every game and averaged 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals. “Kate is a very versatile player who will continue to grow throughout her career,” said Coach Danny Hightower. “She is very coachable and has a team- rst attitude.” Coaches at the Oologah Tournament recognized Kate by selecting her for the All- Tournament Team, which is an unusual honor for a ninth-grader. She was named Honorable Mention by Vype magazine for 3A basketball players. She also came in 4th of 22 players for the Fan Favorite Tulsa Area Girls’ Basketball Player of theYear. Cascia Hall is proud of this student-athlete!
