“and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like
a dove. And a voice came from heaven; “You are my Son,

whom I love; with you I am well pleased.” (Luke 3:22)

What is striking is that the voice of God was only heard by
Jesus, the others couldn’t hear it. Not even John the Baptist

could hear this voice of God. His affirmation did not come
from the voice from heaven, but by witnessing the Holy

Spirit descending like a dove.

“Then John gave this testimony; “I saw the spirit come
down from heaven as a dove and remain on him. I would not

have known him, except that the one who sent me to baptize
with water told me, ‘The man on whom you see the spirit

come down and remain is he who will baptize with the Holy
Spirit.’ (John 1:32-33)

There are people who cannot hear the voice of God, even

by standing next to a person who hears the voice of God. It is
simply because a true worship is made between God and that

specific person through a personal relationship. That is why
the most holy place could only be entered by the high priest.
