We all know that the Most Holy Place could only

be approached by a High Priest. Even the High Priest could
not enter as he willed, but could only enter on July 10th, the

atonement day. However, Moses was called as a special High
Priest, allowing him to enter whenever he willed. Therefore,

the privilege of entering into the Ark of the Covenant today,
can also mean being called as a special High Priest.

3) Entering Past the Cherubs at the Atonement Cover

In order to experience God’s Glory inside the Ark of the
Covenant, we must pass through the entering place. It is

the Atonement Cover. The Atonement Cover sits upon the
Ark of the Covenant as a covering. The Atonement Cover is

the same size as the Ark of the Covenant: hor-izontally 2.5
Cubits and 1.5 Cubits vertically. It is designed with some

height, so that the sprinkled blood would not drip down.
Also, on both ends of the Atonement Cover sits two Cherubs,

which faces down towards the Atonement Cover with its
wings spread out, in a reverent worship.

The Ark of the Covenant was made of Acacia wood covered
in Gold, but the Atonement Cover was made of 100% pure
