is why, when Solomon dedicated the Temple to God, it was

written: “There was nothing in the ark except the two stone
tablets … (1Kg 8:9 NIV).” Did Philistines sol-diers take the

Aaron’s budded staff and Jar of Manna? No, it wasn’t that.
From the very start, Aaron’s budded staff and Golden Jar of

Manna did not sit inside the Ark of the Covenant. Rather,
these were laid in front of the Ark of the Covenant. Why?

You are correct. Because, it was not able to fit inside. The
size of the Ark was not meant for a staff or a Jar to be placed

             inside.
Surprisingly, Hebrews 9 states that “This ark contained the

Gold jar of manna, Aaron’s staff that had budded, and the
stone tablets of the covenant.” Why is this stated differently

be-tween the Scriptures? Actually, there is no tention at all.
The Ark of the Covenant mentioned by Solomon is of the

earthly kind. What the Author of Hebrews mentions is one in
the Heaven, the Ark of the Covenant. Apostle John also saw

the Heavenly Ark of the Covenant. He states: “Then God’s
temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was

seen the ark of his covenant … (Rev 11:19 NIV)”
The Ark of the Covenant that we are to enter is not the

earthly one, but is of the heavenly one. The heavenly Ark
of the Covenant mentioned by the Hebrews author, includes
