Records of the prayer of spirit can be found throughout the

Bible. The prophets in the times of the Old Testament prayed
spiritual prayers. Jesus and his disciples are the ones who

prayed the spiritual prayer in times of the New Testament.
Noah is the first person to have prayed spiritual prayer. Of

course, Adam may have prayed the very first. But there are
no records of Adam since his exile because of sins commit-

ted in the Garden of Eden. Adam’s 7th descendent, Enoch,
lived 365 years and was lifted up to the heavens without

seeing death. The Bible states, “Enoch walked with God;
then he was no more, because God took him away.” (Genesis

5:24) However, but we cannot determine if Enoch prayed the
spiritual prayer.

Adam’s 10th descendant, Noah, prayed Spiritual prayers.
He is known as the builder of Noah’s Ark. The Bible says,

“Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of
his time, and he walked with God.” (Genesis 6:9) It is told,

eight people survived the flood in all, through the Noah’s
Ark. Noah listened to the voice of God in building The Ark.

Noah had not pos-sessed any knowledge about building the
Ark. Unlike the current era, he could not even go on the web

to search the word “The Ark.” It is likely that many others
ridiculed Noah for building The Ark in preparation of a
