Averna is an excellent liqueur with full body and
smooth taste, extremely pleasant for every moment of
the day.

According to ancient tradition, Sicilian friars produced
a herbal elixir. Averna is still made using the same
recipe popularised by Salvatore Averna in Caltanissetta
in 1868.

TASTING NOTES

Appearance: Deep brown with red-golden hues.

Nose: Opening citrus notes mixed with scents
of Mediterranean herbs such as myrtle,
juniper, rosemary, sage and aromatic
resins.

Palate: Orange hints balanced with liquorice and
Mediterranean herbs. Velvety and
rounded texture.

Finish: Softly bitter and smooth.
