A Word From The Editor....

This month I thought it might be nice to touch on some

Punk Rock. Not something I can confess to ever being a
big fan of, however I do know it influenced a lot of people.

Punk rock (or simply punk) emerged in the mid-1970s.

Also, I’m very happy to share the winning lyrics from

Facebook group Don’t Forget The Lyrics 2, on the theme

of ‘story’ lyrics. Many members of this group are not

musicians, but none the less they do produce some
outstanding lyrics between them all, and many are open to

offers of collaboration to turn their lyrics into songs.

I also released Volume 3 of My Life In Lyrics this month,

another 30 of my own lyrics/poetry which are available to

download from my website for a small fee. No preview

available, but the same format as Volume 1 & 2.

Moving forwards, I’ve been toying with the idea of

starting up another magazine, for people wishing to
collaborate with others to realize their songwriting

dreams. This is still only an idea I’m contemplating atm,

but I would be more than happy to hear your views on
what might be good content . Please drop me an email if
