A Thousand Smiles

I guess if I’m honest, this is about me. When you suffer from
depression, it’s so difficult to find anything to smile about. This is
about the sadness that fills you and spills out of you. Inside you
crave to feel loved, yet you don’t realise that others don’t see
things the way you do, they aren’t rejecting you, they are more
likely distancing themselves because you are rejecting them.
When you are depressed you do not invite others to understand
how you feel. You expect them to realise, and mostly they don’t.
