Do Not Be A Turkey

It’s that time of year. The holidays are upon us.

In the United States, one such holiday is named Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on all things we are grateful for, such as
blessings, skills, basic necessities, friends, a job, a roof over your head,
or any other things a person can be grateful for.

The tradition is to have a feast, usually consisting of a turkey dinner with a

plethora of sides and deserts. American football is on most of the TV’s for the
evening entertainment.

This holiday is a reminder to be thankful for the things we do not normally
think about.

In music and lyric writing, we can be thankful for a lot of different things.

I will not tell you what you should be thankful for, but I will speak for myself.

I am thankful for the skills I possess and the education I have to be able to write
music.

I am thankful for all those who have commented on my works of art,
