Welcome to issue number 1 of SONGWRITERS WORKSHOP MAGAZINE.

Larry Ray is our Facebook group Administrator. The main goal of the Songwriters
Workshop is to offer a friendly forum, where Songwriters on every level of experience,
talent, & musical genre not only can share their own lyrical & recorded song creations
to the group, but help other members who join to learn or improve on their songwriting
abilities as well.

I, Jane Shields am a self taught lyricist from the UK, and I compile my own online
magazines. Write Away Magazine is packed full of hints and tips to help Songwriters
to improve their lyric writing skills, and also a platform for Indie artists to promote
themselves whilest talking about their own lyric writing skills. It’s online, free to
contribute/subscribe to or download from my website www.writeawaymagazine.co.uk

SONGWRITERS WORKSHOP MAGAZINE aims to be completely different. Its
generation is for group members to contribute interesting and informative articles on all
aspects of the Songwriting process, as well as human interest articles relative to the
music industry as a whole. It is aimed at all group members, primarily to encourage
further discussions amongst group members upon the articles within its pages, by
discussions on posts within the group.

I’m seeking regular article writers who are happy to contribute interesting and
informative articles on any aspect of the music industry, as well as individuals who may
only want to contribute once or occasionally.
