Floyd’s General Store was written
about an actual country store that
was in business for over 50 years.
Folks would get their seed and
fertilizer for planting there. Cold soft
drinks and a variety of other
merchandise. Things from work
clothes to candy.
I’ve been writing songs for over 40
years and has had several songs re-
corded in different genres. In 2020
the Terry Douglas band recorded
One Nation Under God and the
Kentucky bluegrass group Lacy
Creek recorded Kentucky Wind.
