A practical approach to evaluation and management
of laryngeal disorders including hypersensitivity, vocal
cord dysfunction/inducible laryngeal obstruction, and chronic cough. Various clinical manifestations of laryngeal hypersensitivity and VCD/ILO frequently encountered by allergists/immunologists will be reviewed and differentiated from the common allergic and respiratory disorders.
Recent cough yardstick guidelines and new advances in the evaluation and management of cough in adults and children will be reviewed, in addition to providing a practical approach to speech therapy for cough and ILO disorders.

Atopy in Pregnancy: Implications
for Mom & Baby

Women with atopic conditions require tailored strategies to treat their conditions in pregnancy. In turn, these atopic women often have atopic children, which can influence breastfeeding and food introduction strategies. In this session, participants will learn to personalize their care of asthma, food allergies, drug allergy, urticaria, and eczema for pregnant women, with an emphasis on cutting-edge management and lifelong health.
