No. 19 Field Hockey Hosts Two Big Ten Foes this
Weekend

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – No. 19 Rutgers field hockey will return home for two Big Ten Conference games this
weekend. The first comes Friday, when RU hosts Indiana. Then is No. 8 Northwestern on Sunday,
televised nationally by the Big Ten Network. Chris Voster (play-by-play) and Jeanne Shin Cooper (color
commentary) will be on the call.
ABOUT THE SCARLET KNIGHTS
Rutgers enters the weekend at 5-5 overall, with a game Friday against Indiana ahead of the contest
versus Northwestern. The Scarlet Knights have competed against an extremely tough schedule, as
eight of their ten opponents have been nationally ranked at a point this season. Each of the team's
losses have come against a ranked opponent, with four of the five coming to team's ranked in the
top-10. The team won at No. 6 Princeton, marking its highest ranked road victory ever and tying a
program best for the highest ranked team ever defeated.
