#1 Megan Cunningham, Senior
Captain – Four Year Varsity Player
Megan, a senior captain, was a Tri-
Captain for the JV team her freshman
year, winning MVP. She was pulled up
that same year to varsity for post season
and helped her team win the State M
Class Championship. She has earned 3
M Class State Championships and as a
junior was named to the FCIAC All East
Team.
Megan plays on her club team, Fairfield
County United year-round and was
selected to participate in the Disney
Showcases since 2010, NIT’s since
2011, and Festival since 2012. Her
junior year, Megan’s team won the Gold at both NIT’s and JPOL where she was awarded the Templar Field
Hockey Most Valuable Player award.
Megan has been a USA Futures National player for the last 2 years, earning Elite status this year. Megan is a
member of Safe Rides and works at Wilton Physical Therapy. She wants to pursue a career in sports science and
master in physical therapy while playing Division I field hockey in college.

#5 Delaney Baxendale, Senior Captain
Two Year Varsity Starter
Delaney, a senior captain, played JV as a
freshman and was JV co-captain her
sophomore year winning the leadership
award. As a junior, Delaney was a
Varsity starter who helped her team win
the State M Class Championship and was
named to the FCIAC All East Team.
Delaney plays with her club team, FC
United year-round and in 2014 her team
won Gold Medals at both NITs and
JPOL.
Delaney is a dancer and instructor for
Walter Schalk where she has danced
since she was in kindergarten. She has
been an instructor for the last four years.
Delaney is a member of both the Spanish and National Honor Society and for the past four years has taken
annual service trips with Rustic Pathways and People to People traveling to Australia, Costa Rica, Thailand and
Tanzania.
She would like to pursue a career in international affairs. Delaney will be attending the University of Maine
where she will be playing Division I field hockey.
