Big Second Half Carries Wilton Field Hockey

WILTON -- Anybody wondering how the three-time defending Class M field hockey champs from Wilton were
going to be this season, minus one of the state's best midfielders, one of the state's best defenders, and arguably,
the state's best goaltender, all of whom graduated a year ago, need not wonder anymore.
The Warriors will be fine, thank you very much. Delaney Baxendale netted a hat trick and set up another goal,
leading the Warriors to a 7-0 victory over Brien McMahon on Tuesday afternoon at Fujitani Field. The Warriors
have out-scored their opponents by a 15-1 through their first three games -- all wins.
