sees, having all but three from last season’s FCIAC and state championship
group graduated. “It’s tough,” said Wave junior forward Cassidy, its top scorer
and 2013 conference championship game MVP. “But we have some really good
people filling in from last year.”

“Regular season game, that’s what I keep telling the girls,” said Minicus. “Post
season’s what matters. And if we can play as hard as we played today, but

“I think we played hard, but not particularly well, and Wilton played a great
game,” Minicus added. “And they played clean. They were much, much
cleaner.” “Our passing game I think has improved so much from the first
game,” junior forward Baker said. “We’re only improving and when post
season comes, we’ll be ready.” “Yeah, we’ll get them when it counts,” Cassidy
added. “We’ll learn from it,” said Minicus.
