        FAIRFIELD -- No matter how many times Lauralton Hall forced a turnover Tuesday night, the Crusaders
        couldn't beat Wilton goalie Amanda Hendry in the Class M field hockey semifinals. The Warriors took
        advantage of two late scoring chances, two minutes apart, to win 2-0 at Ludlowe's Taft Field and earn a chance
        at a fourth consecutive Class M championship.

        "I don't know how many shots on goal, but we had tons of opportunity," Crusaders coach Kate Cavanagh said.
        "That was part of the postgame talk. In field hockey, it's the team that capitalizes, and they did a great job."
        Sophomore Bridget Ward scored with 7:08 to go. Katherine Campbell scored off Ward's pass with 4:55 left.
        Hendry's seven saves were enough to get the Warriors back to the state final after graduating eight players. The
        top-seeded Warriors (17-3-1) will meet second-seeded Hand (19-2-1) in Saturday's final at Wethersfield at a
