The real work for chief analytics officers is a bit more involved, and we will explore it
in later chapters. For now, understand that great data scientists are truly special. They are
the Derek Jeters, the Michael Jordans, the Mikhail Barishnikovs, and the Julia Robertses
of the data space. If you’re serious about AI, big data, and advanced analytics, you need
to find one or two, build around them, and craft an environment that helps them do their
things.
