iRAD Software Application – Training Manual
RBG Labs, IIT Madras
Preface
RBG Labs, IIT Madras has taken the honour in shaping up the iRAD Application
Training Manual for the State and District Rollout Managers. iRAD Training manual is
designed for iRAD users from all stakeholder Departments. NICSI Rollout Managers
are expected to follow this standardized training pedagogy designed by IIT Madras in
order to achieve benchmark breakthrough in training ground level staffs and other
required Officials of all the stakeholder Departments.
This iRAD Training Manual is prepared based on the fields and features
available in iRAD Application Version 2.0.0, which was released to six pilot states on
15th February 2021 for live accident data entry. The manual is majorly divided in to
four major modules focusing on four stakeholder Departments involved in iRAD
ecosystem (Police, Highway, Transport and Health).
RBG Labs, IIT Madras is thankful to the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways
(MoRTH), National Informatics Centre Services Incorporated (NICSI) and National
Informatics Centre (NIC), Chennai for constantly supporting the National Workshop on
iRAD Competency Development.
