                       2. Once the primary data is entered by the police official, a unique Accident ID
is generated from the police module. Upon generating an accident ID, an

alert/ notification will be raised to other stakeholder modules. At the station,

police can proceed with a detailed data entry that includes driver, vehicle,
passenger, pedestrian and other environmental related details involved in

the accident. The driver and vehicle details can be fetched by using API
from the VAHAN and SARATHI by entering the vehicle registration number

and driver’s license number respectively. The police module is also linked
with CCTNS of respective State to directly populate the details entered in

iRAD application into the State’s CCTNS system. This will enable the police

officials to generate FIR seamlessly and without duplication of data entry.
The IO validates the data reported by the police field officials and any public

data that can contribute to the investigation of the created iRAD accident
                          case.

                       3. In parallel, other stakeholder Departments such as transport, highways and

health can populate the vehicle, road and patient related details in the iRAD
application. However, for transport module to enter the data, a Motor Vehicle

Inspection (MVI) request needs to be initiated from the police module. Once
the data entry by the other stakeholder Departments is completed

successfully, the data will be shared automatically within the application to

the police module as it will be used by them to generate a detailed
                          investigation report.

                       4. This application can be used in desktop computers with different modules
for each stakeholder such as police, health, transport and highways. A

separate login credential based on hierarchical privileges for different user
roles shall be provided to each of the stakeholder Departments enabling

them to add/ edit their corresponding data fields in iRAD application. The

fields belonging to other stakeholders shall be provided with a view access
for better understanding of the accident.

                       5. All the data entered through the app including primary data, detailed data
from all stakeholder Departments along with images, videos, and audios will
