Visits and Tours London
Throughout the WEE Programme, students will have the opportunity to enjoy the most important attractions within London and its surroundings. These are a few examples of some of the places our students will visit.
British Museum
One of the oldest museums in the world, the British Museum contains more than seven million artefacts from all continents including: an Easter Island Statue, the Rosetta Stone and the mummy of Cleopatra!
Oxford Street
With more than 300 stores running over a mile and a half, Oxford Street is one of Europe’s largest, busiest shopping streets and one of the most famous roads in London.
Piccadilly Circus
Brightly lit, night or day, by its world famous displays of neon adverts, Piccadilly Circus is considered the most visited site in London. Distinctive by its beautiful architecture, statues and theatres, Piccadilly Circus has featured in many British films.
Big Ben
and the Houses
of Parliament
Although the name is universally known, Big Ben refers specifically to the bell inside the tower. As well as being one of the most iconic landmarks in London and a symbol of the British Government, Big Ben is the third tallest clock tower in the world.
