Comingthis year...
In 2018 the WEE will look and feel very different, as the campus is split in two sides – East vs. West! Teams in each of these competition groups will compete against each other, until the finalist schools from each side meet in a grand finale face off.
We are also pleased to announce the launch of the WEE Tigers in 2018. The WEE has always has quite a large age range, and we felt that younger students needed to have a more specialised programme to cater for their different learning styles and activity requirements. Any student aged 10 years or younger will become a WEE Tiger, placed into separate lessons, which have different timings to help maintain focus, and a separate supporting programme of on-site activities. Students will follow a specialised “Young Learners” syllabus created in-house at Oxford International to meet the specific needs of this age range. The programme matches the main WEE groups in its schedule, and therefore students in mixed age teams will still be able to compete together and go on excursions, but the new format will allow them to have a greater experience during their time on campus, and really make the most of the academic elements throughout their stay.
