Being a member of the school’s Readers Leaders team, I have found
myself enjoying the duty of making students engaged in Reading
sessions. The regular advices on the importance of reading and
creating an eagerness to read was a bit challenge at the start but
within no time , the boys got addicted to reading which was a
turning point in their lives. The active participation in all the DEAR
sessions was dearly appreciated by Mrs. Zainab Mustansir and 7D
class got a reward trip as an appreciation.

Ms.Naduni Silva 10th of May, our students participated in the Sharjah Reading
Maths secondary teacher Festival. The event was a wonderful organization where students
could buy story books of all types. The fun games made them more
Member of Reader’s Leaders club - AUS excited and overall they had an enjoyable day which made them

motivated for more and more into reading. I would like to thank the
school for giving our students this chance.

A (D.E.A.R) session is also known as “Drop Everything And Read”. It is a reading
session that happened in our school and this session is so wonderful experience
seeing students are getting encouraged for reading books and our class 7D
would like to thank the school organization for giving us this opportunity in our life
for reading .
Our class 7D had a very wonderful reading session where all the students got
engaged in reading with the immense encouragement received from the
teachers. Our experiences in reading was amazing which we could not even
thought of and we would like to thank Mrs. Zainab our counselor for coming in our
class and seeing our reading session and listening to our experiences about
reading .

On 10th May 2023, Mrs. Zainab gave us a reward fieldtrip to Sharjah Reading
Festival and our class 7D was grateful

from bottom of our hearts for the trip and we had so much fun . We met students
of other schools and there were lot of reading shops which were really exciting
because they had my favourite book Animae and our class was also excited to try Abdul Raheem
different learning rooms to innovate something so much more . The special thing -7A
was there were photo loops and a car racing arcade which my classmates
enjoyed a lot. From bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank Arab unity school
for giving us a chance to make this day a prosperous and an enjoyable
memorable day.
