9. The horizontal of the shoulder should be parallel to the horizontal of the hip, in turn
parallel to the horizontal line between the knees and parallel to the imaginary horizontal
line at the height of the ankles.
10. The ideal position is that which facilitates the martial artist:
- Balance and stability.
- Fluency in movement, fast, light and firm.
- Speed in attack and defense.
- That I can execute a Tai zabaki, simultaneously with the blockade and the Atemi.
11. The base of the posture, the more open and away from the vertical of the center of
gravity, the greater balance it will provide, but the less mobility in displacement, that is
why it is used more for defense and not for attack.
12. The base of the posture, the closer it is to the vertical center of gravity, the less stability
it will provide, but will ensure better leg mobility and position changes.
13. The basis of the correct posture should be that which is the most appropriate, inter-
mediate and comfortable. Allowing the control of all extremes simultaneously adapted to
the morphology of the practitioner, without it affecting the natural movement of the body.
ESSENTIAL CHARACTERISTICS: THE POSTURES MUST MEET THE
FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS.
a) Stable: According to the weight and size of the person and the center of gravity a few
fingers from the tamden.
b) Commode: Allow displacement for attack and defense
c) Intermediate. Neither too low nor too high, but that the big toe is not visible
d) Flexible. That allows to make wave for the counterattack and the projection
e) Explosive, with the ability to change places in fractions of seconds
