RECOGNIZE THE IMPACT OF DIFFERENCES

               Virtual teams come with differences; this can include

               cultural, work style and personality differences. This can

               magnify obstacles to communication and productivity in a

               remote team— especially when members think they’re
              speaking the same language, but actually are not.


               In this section, we will outline:


               1.     How to acknowledge and increase awareness of
               differences in personality among team members


               2.     How to encourage diversity of ideas of all team

               members


               3.     How to reduce divergent interpretations while working

               on ambiguous tasks

                Personality tests can be a fun and insightful approach to use to

                  share an in-depth look of how life is viewed from the perspective

                  of your staff. This can help provide a level of understanding and
                compassion towards team members to help improve work
                  productivity, teamwork and communication.
