EDUARDA CALADO Favourite Memory
Start Date: March 24, 1996
I have so many found memories working at St.
Michael’s Hospital and would not be possible
without the wonderful colleagues and mentors that
I have the pleasure of working with every day.
My most memorable memory is of the care
provided by the people that represent Unity.
My mother was admitted to the hospital and the
care that she received from physicians, nurses,
dieticians, social workers, the team that fixated the
blinds in her room so she can get a goodnight sleep
to the EVS staff who made sure her isolation room
was properly stocked to keep her safe and the staff
who assisted mom with her food tray when family
was not available. This memory resonates with me
and speaks to the mission and values that
Unity Health Toronto continues to exemplifies.
I’m honored to celebrate this milestone
in an organization that I call my second home.
