I have so many wonderful memories I’ve held close to

my heart over these years.

One of my most favorite memory is while working on a
very busy medical unit, we would celebrate Christmas’

(and other celebrations) together as a unit – our work

family.

Back in the day…we nurses would bring in platers of

foods and deserts, coffees and teas, gifts, decorations

and party favors and have a celebration as a family. Our

overworked interns and residents especially enjoyed a

home cooked meal! We enjoyed our time together

even while working through the holidays.

The warmth, affection, compassion and spirit of St

Michael’s Hospital has been a constant throughout my

career.
