Starting working as a RN in NICU was the
happiest moment of my life being migrated
here from India. It was a new chapter added to my
life. I was very anxious and nervous to work in the
unit but all my colleagues were very amicable and
accepting which makes my transition smoothly.
My favourite memory in St.Michaels NICU unit was
when my colleagues surprised me with a cake for
starting as a full time permanent and celebrated
with me. Moreover, there are numerous time I felt
peace and happy when NICU parents paid gratitude
saying simple word, “thank you” for small things we
do everyday at work. It gives me great satisfaction
with my own work.
