Caring for Aging Parents
This help can come in several forms – either financial help,
personal care, or both. Eight percent of Baby Boomers report
that they have a parent or parents living with them. For those
not already caring for a parent, almost 40% expect to do so in
the future.

In addition to the time involved, there are also monetary costs
associated with caring for an aging parent. AARP estimates that
caregivers spend an average of more than $5,000 out of pocket
annually. There are other financial sacrifices that can be much
