Package Plant Flow Routing

Raw Influent enters the Package Plant flowing through the bar screen and flow

metering.

Raw wastewater enters the Mix Zone comingling with aerated mixed liquor.

Mixed liquor flows into the settling tank (Clarifier). The clear clarifier effluent flows to

the chlorine contact chamber.

Clarifier sludge is air lifted back into the Mixing Zone.

Each day a calculated portion of mixed liquor is wasted to the aerobic digester tank

for thickening and disposal.

Clarifier effluent flowing into the Chlorine Contact Chamber is disinfected with

chlorine gas or sodium hypochlorite and discharged as final effluent.
