Process Sampling

Sample Types:

Grab Samples: Grab samples represent the waste stream at a particular time

and place.

A grab sample is a single sample of wastewater taken at a random time,

sample point, and or flow rate.

Grab samples are taken for specific test parameters such as D.O., Coliforms,

Chlorine Residual, Temp., and pH.
