Perforated screens
Perforated screens represent to newest generation of screens and capture the highest
percentage of debris and rags.
Perforated screens are highly dependent on spray water.
Spray water is provided to keep the small perforations clean.
If a spray nozzle clogs, or the spray water system fails, a perforated screen can quickly
blind, forming a matted panel of rags and debris causing a damming effect and
probable raw wastewater overflow.
