Pumps and their Applications
Positive displacement pumps include internal parts that will wear out due to
the powerful internal forces of the pump.
A Progressive Cavity Pump includes a rotor and stator.
The rotor will over time become worn by abrasives in the sludge. The rotor
in time needs to be replaced.
Indications of a worn rotor will be limited pump output.
