Pumps and their Applications
Pumps are designed to perform under known stresses in having to pull and push
materials to a desired point.
The pulling and pushing of material are known as Pump Suction, Pump Lift and
Pump Head Pressure.
A pump will perform differently under different suction and head conditions. This
performance analysis is called a Pump Curve.
