Introduction to Units
Units of measure provide important context for any numbers or data being used in
everyday scenarios.
They are constantly used in operations for water and wastewater treatment plants, and
are essential tools used to describe actions taken in the plant as well as plant conditions
at a given time.
There are five (5) main categories of units commonly used in water treatment plants.
