Power shavers/burrs
A motorised burr efficiently and rapidly removes bone and cartilage,
enabling removal of large lesions in minimal time. The control unit for
a power burr/shaver is hand- or foot-operated, enabling the operator to
control the speed and the direction of the action of the handpiece (Fig.
