VetBooks.ir stem cells as T cells but do not undergo thymic processing. They are
widely distributed throughout the lymphoid organs. They account
for 5% to 10% of blood lymphocytes. Other innate lymphoid cell
populations are also found in tissues, especially in the intestine,
respiratory tract, and skin (Chapter 19).
