based studies have shown that immune responses to bacterial
VetBooks.ir infections may swing between Th1 and Th2 responses, perhaps

several times, before a final response is established. This final
response may well be a Th1 or Th2 response, or even some

intermediate point in the Th1 to Th2 spectrum. This variability
appears to be a common feature of chronic infections such as
               tuberculosis.
